Did you know you can embroider with your sewing machine?
Freemotion embroidery is involves dropping the feed dogs on your sewing machine and letting your imagination go to create beautiful pictures with fabric and thread!
In this fun Christmas themed class we will create festive freemotion that you can hang in an embroidery hoop as a Christmas decoration or pop in a frame. A unique, handmade Christmas decoration to treasure year after year.
The ultimate class to really let your creative juices flow, we promise you will find this class fun and relaxing. A great way to start the festivities we will have Christmas music and mince pies aplenty!
Who is this class for?
This class is aimmed at confident beginners. As long as you are familiar with a sewing machine and can thread and opperate the machine you can give freemotion a try!
What's included:
As well as all the tea you can drink, we will provide the sewing machines, all of the tools and threads you will need to complete your project. We will have fabric scraps to use to create your embroidery.
What do I need to bring:
Absolutely nothing! Freemotion is a great way to use up fabric scraps and we have plenty of them! If you have a particular fabric you'd like to use, you are welcome of course to bring it along.
